Who we are...
Our caring, highly trained team of "Angels" can make independent living a possibility for seniors that want to remain in the comfort of their own homes but need some help, either temporarily or long-term, with their daily routines. We provide seniors and their families with the peace of mind they need to enjoy an enhanced, more care-free lifestyle. Our services include home maintenance and organization, bill paying, service coordination and more. We are also available for non-medical homecare up to 24 hours a day.

Susan Jordan RN, BSN, MA and owner has spent her career serving seniors. She began at the age of sixteen working as a certified nursing assistant in the nursing home. She completed her Bachelors degree in nursing and began working. While working she completed her Masters in gerontology and management. She then became a licensed National Facility Administrator. Susan has served as the Executive Director and Administrator of several large licensed health care communities and a continuing care retirement community in the Tippecanoe and White counties areas. Susan has spent her career specializing in seniors. She acts as their advocate while caring for them like her own family. Susan has always had a huge heart for serving seniors while providing solutions and opportunities for seniors and their families to have a more meaningful and active lifestyle.

In this based-in-faith company Susan plans to also focus on the unique needs of the associate/caregiver. It is her desire to provide a joy filled atmosphere enhanced with compassion, learning opportunities, and life skill development for the associate. Susan believes that the associate is the core of a successful business and believes that by focusing energy on the personal and professional development of the associate that it will enhance the life of the associate and therefore further benefit the treasured seniors that she serves.

Angels Senior Home Solutions is the ideal solution for elderly or disabled individuals who want to maintain their independence and dignity by continuing to live in the comfort of their own homes. Our companions make their lives easier by performing many of the tasks which have become difficult and tiring.

Companions may provide a wide array of services, including:

• Home service coordination
• Handy-man service
• Driving and/or accompanying the client to the physician when necessary
• Shopping and performing other household errands
• Reminding clients to take their medication
• Providing hygiene assistance
• Supervising ambulation and helping to prevent falls
• Taking care of all personal laundry and bed linens for the client
• Preparing and serving meals according to client's dietary needs
• Cleaning the bathroom and kitchen after use, including washing dishes after meals and mopping the floor
• Light housekeeping, which includes dusting and vacuuming
• Providing respite for family caregivers
• Helping with correspondence to family and friends
• Providing socialization, friendship and support for the client
• Going on walks and encouraging and participating in stimulating activities

As a licensed home health agency, our skilled nurses can also perform the following:

• Wound care and dressing changes
• Medication set-ups for oral medications or injectables
• Administer injections or intravenous medications
• Change foley catheters
• And many other skilled nursing services

Angels Senior Home Solutions recognizes the fact that certain illnesses and afflictions are more common to seniors. Therefore, we provide special training to our caregivers on communicating with persons who have Alzheimer's and related Dementia, Hearing Loss and Aphasia, which ensures a higher level of care for our clients. If nursing or full home healthcare services become necessary, we can refer you to an appropriate home health care agency.
