It is our goal to provide ongoing, specialty training to our staff. We are pleased to announce that the Angels Staff just completed their first Alzheimer’s Training of 2011 titled “Trying Times.” This training was based on Melanie Bunn’s presentation at the 2010 Alzheimer’s Care Coalition Conference. Training focused on understanding the different stages of Alzheimer’s. Utilizing gemstones, (diamonds, emeralds, rubies, amber, and pearls) we discussed each stage of Alzheimer’s and outlined techniques for facing the challenges experienced during each stage.
